The Illinois Central Blues Club is now conducting the election for our Board of Directors for the September 1, 2017 to August 31, 2018 Fiscal Year. All Club members in good standing can vote.
In addition to the slate presented, Club members can cast write-in votes. For a candidate to be considered, they must meet the following criteria:
1) be a member in good standing of the Illinois Central Blues Club. (Board members must hold an individual or family membership in their name)
2) Live in a location that allows you to attend monthly meetings held in Springfield, Illinois.
According to the By-Laws, the Board can be made up of up of 15 members. (4 Officers and 11 members at-large) At the September 18, 2017 ICBC Board meeting, the newly elected Board will be seated, and they will conduct the election of the new Board officers. (President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer).
Members will be provided 3 different ways to vote: You can vote with a paper ballot at Blue Monday at the Alamo on August 28, 2017, you can print a ballot from the Illinois Central Blues Club facebook page, or you can download the ballot from the icbluesclub.com website here. After you have your ballot completed, you can either email it to Don75hud@sbcglobal.net, or mail them to ICBC, PO Box 603, Springfield, IL, 62705.
